Our property features miles of nature trails designed for residents to enjoy on foot or by golf cart, offering a peaceful way to explore the natural beauty of the property.
As you make your way along the trails, there are many areas where you'll feel as though you've stepped deep into the woods. Mature trees surround the pathways, creating a peaceful canopy where the sounds of traffic and everyday life seem to fade away. Instead, you'll hear birds singing, leaves moving in the breeze, and the natural sounds of the wildlife that call Lucky Horseshoe home.
A Place Where Nature Can Thrive
A portion of our property features beautiful, mature oak trees that have been intentionally left largely untouched. Other than the trails we've carefully established through this area, we have preserved the natural landscape to provide a quiet retreat for the wildlife that lives here.
As you explore the trails, you may encounter a variety of Texas wildlife, including deer, rabbits, birds, insects, and other native creatures. You may even see some of the less predictable residents of the Texas Hill Country, including snakes and spiders. While nature doesn't always follow a schedule, that's part of what makes exploring Lucky Horseshoe such a unique experience.
We've intentionally set aside portions of the property as natural habitat, giving wildlife a place to retreat, feed, and thrive while allowing our residents the opportunity to experience nature up close.

Our trails are designed to be enjoyed in different ways. They're wide enough for golf carts, making it easy to take a leisurely ride through the property, while also providing a peaceful setting for those who prefer to walk.
Many of our residents enjoy walking or riding the trails on a daily basis. Whether you're looking for a quiet morning walk, an afternoon golf-cart ride, or simply a place to sit back and enjoy the surroundings, the trails provide an opportunity to experience the peaceful side of RV living.
Growing Food for Wildlife
We also make an intentional effort to use our property to help support the wildlife that surrounds us. Our large sunflower patch is one example of how we incorporate the land into our commitment to creating a wildlife-friendly environment. The trails wind through the sunflower area, providing residents with a beautiful place to explore while also creating a valuable food source for local wildlife.
In addition to the sunflower patch, we utilize feeders and water troughs in designated areas, including the goat pens, to help provide food and water for the animals on the property.
